Oil Painting Commission
I absolutely love the story a portrait can tell. I fell down the rabbit hole of different types to paint. Sadly I had a year in my life where I experienced a lot of loss and painting was a great way for me to deal with it. Over a decade the losses grew and I continued to paint for myself and did a few paintings for others. I still love painting portraits (pets too) and they have evolved into life illustrations. Celebrations of memories and friends; poems themselves. I love that it is not one subject in one style. That it’s an exploration of the soul to both the viewer and the painter. There’s still so many ideas I have waiting to take breath across a canvas.
- Paintings can take between 1-3+ months depending on details, size and dry time.
Brief & Contract
After the form is filled out, I will contact either via phone or email (whichever is preferred) and finalize the project details before sending out a contract and deposit invoice.
Sketches
Sketches & color comps begin and are sent for approvals and revision.
Abra-cadabra
After sketches are approved the magic begins. I can send progress updates of the painting for minor revisions, if any.
Dry & Delivery
Once dried (2week min) the painting will be packaged and delivered to its new home!
Digital Painting Commission
The possibilities are endless in this section. The range can start anywhere from traditional oil paintings, still life’s and portraits done digitally, to you and your significant other drawn as your favorite characters from a book, video game, or movie; your imagination is the limit.
Because there is no dry time, These can be done quicker than a traditional painting. They can take anywhere from a week to a month from start to delivery.
All prints are printed on archival paper produced with acid free quality inks.
