As a freelance illustrator, I am in the process of querying for my books. (If you have any questions about this, I will be more than happy to email about it.)  I kinda worked backwards with my art. Fell in love with oil painting in college and enjoyed painting portraits. I found that faces themselves, a person’s eyes, even brushstrokes can tell a story in a portrait.  Still-lifes can be brought to life and that silent books are a thing. It wasn’t until I was onto writing my third book did I decide to draw a cover of my own. I had so much fun. I LOVE BOOKS!! I just don’t get to read as often as I would like. But what if I can by designing covers for people who have dreams as big as mine.

My portfolio is small right now,  mainly children’s books. As an illustrator I like to believe I can draw anything. On my journey I have found that stories are what I’m passionate about and they take many forms and can be for any age.
